Let's us remember the goodness of God leads us to repentance. Knowing that while we were yet sinners, Christ dies for us. We know that we are in sin because our conscience bears witness of it, through how we treat one another and based on how to draw complaints. All that confirms God's biblical word as an absolute transcendent standard that we can be consistent and honest concerning the truth.

God reveals our sinful condition held to His Holy Word, Will, Character & Nature. We acknowledge our sin before Him, through the revelation of His word, confirmed in our conscience. To believe in Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of our sins, through His death & resurrection. Being fill with His Spirit, to be born-again, a new creature in Christ, who loves God, with a new desire to please and follow Him.
